After seeing the facilities and meeting or
speaking with the friendly faculty, I knew Northeastern
was the place for me. To top it off, each new graduate
student was assigned a second year mentor to help
answer any questions about the program. I felt more
comfortable entering the program before I even arrived!
-Jamila Darwish
Northeastern is academically
challenging and there is a wealth of support from
the faculty and staff. One of the wonderful aspects
of my program is the tight-knit community feel.
-Sivan Einsohn
I like the close relationships
you are able to form with professors/supervisors
- they have a lot of info to share and being comfortable
around them makes the learning process easier
The Language Literacy Program that
we get to do is a great addition to our Clinic 1
experience...early literacy is so important, and
we get the chance to directly address the issue
and play with super cute kids!
-Katelyn Penna
An aspect of the program at Northeastern that
I really enjoy is the many research opportunities
available with professors who are involved in different
aspects of communication disorders research.
-Katherine Alexander
I chose to attend the Northeastern University
Speech-Language-Pathology Program, because I was
interested in the inner city location and the variety
of placements this program had to offer. Growing
up in Maine my whole life, I was intrigued by the
diverse communities and populations for which we
as SLP students could have the chance to interact
with and learn from.
