Bio
Dr. Sandra Cleveland, audiologist, is currently
Director of Audiology Clinical Services and is the
Au.D. Graduate Program Director. She is a certified
and licensed audiologist and a fellow of the American
Academy of Audiology. Special interests include
aural rehabilitation, hearing aids, pediatric audiology,
and central auditory processing disorders. She provides
clinical supervision and teaches a variety of courses,
including Rehabilitative Audiology, Pediatric Audiology,
Assessment and Management of Central Auditory Disorders,
and Differential Diagnosis.
Dr. Sandra Cleveland developed and presently oversees
the following programs funded by the Boston Guild
for the Hard of Hearing at Northeastern; Hearing
Instrument Outreach Program, Aural Rehabilitation
and Speechreading Classes, Assistive Listening Device
Program, and the Community Outreach Program. She
ensures that the highest quality of services are
provided to individuals with hearing loss and that
through innovative ways information is disseminated
to professionals and others to increase awareness
about the total impact of hearing loss and the importance
of hearing conservation.
Prior to Northeastern, she was a clinical audiologist
at Children's Hospital in Boston for 12 years and
at UMass Medical Center in Worcester for 5 years.
As a clinical audiologist, she provided diagnostic
and rehabilitative services to infants, children,
and adults.
